Working closely with prospective entrepreneurs and bio-startup companies, the Maryland Biotechnology Center offers a host of resources and referrals to help companies plan and grow for success. 

Through the BioEntrepreneur Program, the Center can assist you with  business plan development, capital formation strategy, identifying facilities and incubator space, filing and recording patents, protecting trademarks and intellectual property as well as recognizing industry trends. 

The Center's Biotechnology Development Program, focused at enhancing life  sciences research and technology commercialization, will support Maryland's life science sector with grant programs targeted at academic researchers, Maryland-based companies and academic & non-profit institutions.

The Center will also host a database system located within our resource library which will be accessible to those who visit us.
