Carroll Technology Council (CTC)
Founded as an organization with the intention to prepare Carroll County for the future, the CTC's mission is to provide leadership, information, and resources to educate, attract, and influence technology in Carroll County. The CTC has developed many new programs, including a speaker series and professional education series, which are open to the public.
Charles County Technology Council (CCTC)
The Charles County Technology Council acts as a cooperative alliance dedicated to the advancement of people, technology, and ideas, in Charles County. CCTC programs include Lunch & Learn Seminars, the Technology Excellence scholarship program, monthly business networking events, co-sponsored events such as the Leading Edge Awards, Charles County Economic Summit, and the Indian Head Tech Transfer Forum.
Frederick Technology Council
The Frederick Innovative Technology Center Inc. (FITCI) is Frederick County's first business incubator. FITCI offers local entrepreneurs facilities, services, and an environment in which they can prosper.
Howard Technology Council (HTC)
The Howard Technology Council (HTC) is the premier resource for business growth. The HTC provides vision, awareness, forum and focus for informative programs and business networking opportunities that promote technology businesses in Howard County.
Northeastern Maryland Technology Council (NMTC)
The NMTC represents 80 high-tech organizations in Harford and Cecil counties, including approximately 150 business executives, Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) lab personnel, leaders in state and local government, and retired senior managers of area companies and government laboratories One of the organization’s goals is to help make the area an exceptional environment for technology transfer, involving APG and the new Higher Education Applied Technology (HEAT) Center.
The Chesapeake Regional Tech Council (CRTC)
With more than 230 members, the CRTC is a resource for visibility, connections, knowledge and education for technology companies in and around the community in the Annapolis-Washington-Baltimore region. The CRTC mission is to energize and propel the advancement of technologies with the exchange of ideas, expertise and business and partnership opportunities.
The Greater Baltimore Tech Council (GBTC)
The GBTC is devoted to one goal: building and growing the Greater Baltimore Region's Business & Technology community. The GBTC offers peer-to-peer programming where individuals can create trusted connections, learn from each other, and ultimately develop long- lasting, business relationships. Acting as the gateway to the region’s technology community, the GBTC promotes that innovation and business thrive in Greater Baltimore.
Technology Council of Maryland (TCM)
The TCM is a non-profit consortium of technology firms, federal labs, education institutions and business support firms, collectively forming the Maryland tech community.
Members represent thousands of knowledge-based employees in the state and surrounding National Capital region. Ranging from large corporations, such as Lockheed Martin, to small companies with two to three employees, TCM members represent diverse industry sectors, including IT, bioscience, telecom, aerospace, electronics, and engineering. Primary objectives include unparalleled business development tools, advocacy initiatives, and entrepreneurial and networking opportunities.

Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO)
BIO is the world's largest biotechnology organization, providing advocacy, business development and communications services for more than 1,200 members worldwide. BIO hosts the annual BIO International Convention, the world's largest gathering of the biotechnology industry, which attracts more than 20,000 attendees from around the world. Attendees hear from global biotechnology leaders, learn about the latest biotech innovations and network with their peers from established and emerging biotech companies, research institutions, service providers and biotech hubs.
The Economic of Alliance Greater Baltimore (EAGB)
The Economic Alliance is the regional economic development marketing organization that brings together business, government, and educational institutions in Greater Baltimore. The Economic Alliance is your one-stop resource for regional data, introductions into the business community and quality of life information.
Greater Baltimore Committee (GBC)
The GBC is a regional, membership organization of more than 500 businesses, nonprofit organizations, and educational and civic institutions. Members are located in Baltimore City and Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, and Howard counties. The GBC’s mission is to improve the business climate of the Baltimore region by organizing its corporate and civic leadership to develop solutions to the problems that affect the region's competitiveness and viability. The GBC offers a comprehensive, year-long schedule of programs and networking events for executives and business professionals on topics ranging from corporate teamwork to updates on key business climate and public policy issues. The GBC also houses The Leadership, an in-depth year-long orientation for emerging leaders from the region’s business, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies.
The Hopkins Biotech Network (HBN)
HBN is a professional student-run organization whose main mission is to create a stronger biotech community that addresses the interests and potential opportunities for its members. Hence we have positioned HBN as the place for knowledge growth that bridges the gap between the main three stakeholders (industry, academia, and government) of the Biotech field. HBN's goal isn't just to help people network, but to help our members understand the vast spectrum of opportunities in biotechnology, spanning everything from business to the lab bench.
Women in Bio (WIB)
Women in Bio is an organization of professionals committed to fostering and encouraging entrepreneurship and career development of women active in the life science industry. Since its creation, the WIB membership has expanded to include women of all generations at all stages of their careers. Today, this vibrant national organization includes women executives, entrepreneurs, scientists, investors, students, and women in professional fields that serve the life sciences industry, all of whom share an interest in science and entrepreneurship. Through educational and networking opportunities, WIB brings women in biotechnology and the life sciences together and helps to foster women's' participation in entrepreneurship and professional development in the life sciences.
The World Trade Center Institute (WTCI)
More than 2,500 Maryland firms benefit from WTCI's pragmatic international business programs, extensive global network, and global intel. Services include exclusive international events, business network connections, global intelligence briefs, international visitor management, and international travel packages.
