InvenioIP
InvenioIP is a web-based intellectual property database that streamlines the search process for innovation investors. Developed at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, InvenioIP allows free access to technologies available for commercialization from academic institutions, federal research facilities and private companies in Maryland, D.C., and Virginia. InvenioIP provides summaries and investigator contact information for more than 1,900 technology innovations. Each summary includes a brief description, potential applications, licensing and patent information. The site's list-serve function allows site users to develop search criteria and receive automatic updates when new information is added to the Web site.

University of Maryland Office of Technology Commercialization 
The Office of Technology Commercialization's (OTC) mission is to facilitate the transfer of intellectual property to business and industry through the development and management of a high-quality portfolio of diverse technologies, ensure intellectual property rights, negotiate and execute licensing agreements and, when feasible, assist in the formation of start-up businesses that utilize the university's technology in order to provide benefits to the university and the regional economy. The OTC provides an online searchable database of their current technologies.

University of Maryland, Baltimore, Office of Research & Development The Office of Research and Development (ORD) is organized to leverage the University's position as a major biomedical research institution and to capture and market its growing portfolio of intellectual property. The Office of Research and Development directs UMB's research administration and technology commercialization efforts. The office provides an online searchable database of their current technologies.

The Johns Hopkins University Tech Transfer Office 
The mission of Johns Hopkins Technology Transfer (JHTT) is to advance the mission of the Johns Hopkins University to bring the benefits of discovery to the world, by implementing the commercialization of university inventions for the public good.  The JHTT engages strategically faculty, industry, sister institutions and funding entities to become a vital component of JHU's commitment to social responsibility and public service. The JHTT provides an online searchable database of their current technologies.
 
Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory Tech Transfer

The Office of Technology Transfer (OTT) serves industry and onsite inventors by matching APL technologies and research with industry needs. OTT facilitates the transfer of APL-developed technology to business and industry to benefit the public, foster economic development and benefit Johns Hopkins University. The OTT provides an online searchable database of their current technologies.
