UMB BioPark tenant stretches out, plans to hire

Leaders of the BioInnovation Center at the University of Maryland, Baltimore BioPark said Thursday that it will double its size over the next six months. The center, which opened in 2007, will expand to 18,000 square feet to accommodate its growing companies. The extra square footage, which will be mostly lab space, will allow enough workspace for 50 new employees.
