The Maryland Biotechnology Center (MBC) is a newly created organization by Governor Martin O’Malley and the Maryland Life Sciences Advisory Board. The MBC is a portal to resources and coordinated programs of entrepreneur and biotechnology infrastructure development, workforce training, connection to federal facilities, and marketing Maryland’s community.             


Human Genome Sciences is a biopharmaceutical company with three promising products in late-stage development: Albuferon® in Phase 3 trials for hepatitis C; LymphoStat-B® in Phase 3 trials for lupus; and ABthrax™ in late-stage development for inhalation anthrax.

 

 

The MdBio division of Tech Council of Maryland seeks to support and advance Maryland’s bioscience industry.
