Biotechnology Training Categories 

Introduction to BioManufacturing 

These courses are targeted to instruct students to work in the biomanufacturing sector.

Main courses offered by our training partners include:

  • Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP): These courses typically cover such topics as laboratory controls, assay development, and validation.

  • Process Development and Production Technology: These courses typically cover topics such as raw materials, product specifications, assay development and test procedures and scale up.

  • Upstream and Downstream Processes: These courses typically include such topics as use of bioreactors/fermentation, separation and protein purification.

  • Aseptic Processing: Courses are designed to offer the training needed to ensure a sterile product.  These courses may include such topics as sanitation techniques, environmental monitoring, isolator technology, gowning techniques, media fills and microbial identification.

  • Fundamentals of Fill and Finish: Courses are targeted towards product completion.  These courses may include lyophilization, bulk fill, and packaging testing. 

  • Quality Assurance and Quality Control: These courses may include environmental monitoring, quality system elements, sterility testing and final product testing etc.
